〓Cost Includes〓

  • Consulting service fee at the beginning of the project.
  • Airport pick-up fee (from Denpasar International Airport).
  • Accommodation and meals.
  • Full program and activity arrangement
  • Transportation expenses related to volunteer activities during the volunteer period.

〓Cost Excludes〓

  • Passport and visa fees.
  • Drop-off fees.
  • Round-trip transportation expenses from the place of departure to the project location, flight etc.
  • Out-of-program transportation expenses and personal expenses such as shopping during activities.

Program Requirements

  • If you're planning to volunteer in Bali for less than 30 days, you can get a visa on arrival when you arrive. If you need more time, you can extend it for another 30 days.
  • If you're under 16, you have to have a parent or guardian with you for the program. And if you're 16 or 17 when your program starts, you need parental consent to join. A consent form will be required by our team.

Program Schedule

  • Sunday: Arrival at DPS airport,where LeanIn staff will be responsible for airport pickup.
  • Monday: Morning starts with simple teaching exchange, and volunteers can choose their own teaching classes according to their own strengths. In the afternoon, they will go to school for teaching tasks.
  • Tuesday:The morning is free for leisure activities; In the afternoon, volunteers need to prepare teaching content, interspersing games, music and other content, and interact with the children.
  • Wednesday:Morning is free time .  Volunteers can visit Ubud city in the morning. In the afternoon,volunteers will go to local schools to teach relevant subjects and answer children's questions in class.
  • Thursday:Morning is free time .  Volunteers can visiti  the rice terraces, swing and other places in the morning.In the afternoon, volunteers are supposed to school to teach and interact with the children, so as to better integrate the culture.
  • Friday: Morning is free time .  In the morning, volunteers can go to Cat Poop Cafe, Holy Monkey Park and other places. With half day talent teaching in the afternoon,NGO volunteer certificate will be awarded.
  • Saturday: Volunteers should leave the project site before noon.The base requires volunteers to arrange their own travel to the airport or subsequent travel itineraries, and they can go to Kuta beach, sea temple, hiking volcano, etc.
  • *​Due to the allocated school arrangement, we may schedule the teaching sessions in the afternoon instead. In Bali, we will only arrange half-day teaching sessions from Monday to Friday.

Accomodation Environment

  • 2-3 people per room,equipped with a fan, Wi-Fi access, and hot water for showers.(Upgrade is available to a double-bed room for single occupancy, subject to an additional fee)
  • Situated in a picturesque town surrounded by tropical rainforest, as well as banana, coffee, and palm trees, volunteers begin their day immersed in a beautiful natural environment filled with fresh air.
  • Our project site is just about a 10-minute drive from Ubud, allowing you to easily experience the unique artistic allure of this vibrant town.
  • Ubud, a town brimming with artistic charm, is renowned for its rich culture, craftsmanship, and creative atmosphere. Here, you can explore world-class galleries and art exhibitions, take part in traditional Balinese painting, wood carving, and silver jewelry making, or immerse yourself in the inspiration of yoga, music, and dance.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Introduce various art forms like painting and dancing.
  • Tailor lessons to different age groups of local kids.
  • Provide art materials and ensure a safe workspace.
  • Encourage kids to express themselves through art.
  • Display and celebrate students' artworks regularly.
