Some say, if you can't go to the moon, then go to Iceland.
In Iceland, you can cross tundras, traverse glaciers, and even soar above volcanic crater lakes, where the elements of ice and fire are beautifully intertwined. Game of Thrones was filmed here, making it the perfect interpretation of A Song of Ice and Fire. Far from the bustle of the city, let's become aurora dream catchers, perfectly experiencing the ethereal colors and ever-changing shapes of the northern lights.
With such breathtaking beauty, have you ever thought that Iceland is facing the crisis of global climate change? Melting glaciers and rising sea levels are urgent concerns. In response, the Icelandic government is strengthening sustainable development, encouraging public participation in environmental protection, and actively engaging in international cooperation. In the winter of 2020, LeanIn will launch an environmental protection program in Iceland, actively participating in the country’s environmental initiatives. Here, volunteers will engage in activities such as waste cleaning, coastline restoration, and urban greenbelt protection. In addition to environmental activities, the program also offers specially designed experiences, such as aurora viewing, the Golden Circle, and the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, perfectly combining volunteer environmental work with Iceland’s stunning natural landscapes.
